My daughter LOVES banana bread! We have been cutting back our intake of sugar in our house so I re worked a yummy recipe I found and created this tasty low sugar version! I am discovering by cutting the sugar in my baking recipes, it really is not missed at all especially if you do it gradually. It also (so far) has not changed the consistency of my recipes. Give it a try! ENJOY!

NEW Banana Bread recipe Debbi K.
Mix together:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
Mix and add to flour mixture:
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
Mix all to combine then add:
3 TBSP buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
4 bananas, mashed
Pour into 3 small loaf pans that have been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes.
