A New Chili Recipe

I recently received an email with a chili recipe from the American Heart Association. I changed it based on what I had in the pantry. I thought it was worth sharing! ENJOY!

pound ground beef
half onion chopped
red pepper chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 TBSP Penzey Chili 9000 ( you can substitute chili powder, you might want to add more for a kick)
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/3 can petite diced tomatoes
3/4 cup roasted red pepper and chipotle salsa
1 cup water
Brown the ground beef with the onion and red pepper. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Simmer on a low boil for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips and shredded cheese. ENJOY!
