In a gentle way, you can shake the world. Mahatma Gandhi
Today I am sharing one of the simplest cakes I have ever made! Most everyone who knows me knows I bake/cook usually from scratch. There is nothing wrong with baking or cooking from a box. I just enjoy creating with ingredients and recipes from scratch. I recently was given this “recipe” from someone I see where I walk. It just sounded delicious and too simple not to give it a try! I also love anything that makes my home smell like Fall! Now it is not the healthiest recipe but sometimes you just need a little indulgence! It also uses an old favorite of mine, spice cake! It is a good go to recipe for last minute company as well. You can have the ingredients on hand in your pantry! Give it a try! ENJOY!

Apple Spice Cake in the Slow Cooker
This makes a soft dump type cake, more like cobbler consistency.
1 box Spice Cake Mix
2 cans Apple Pie filling
1 stick butter
Place the apple pie filling first in your slow cooker then add on the cake mix. Last add the butter, I cut into chunks. Turn your slow cooker to high and cook for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Everyone that has tried it has enjoyed it with vanilla ice cream! Tasty!!
