Avocado Dip with Pita Chips

Avocado Dip

1 Avocado

juice from 1/2 lime

1/2 to 1 tsp onion powder (depending on your taste, I use 1/2)

1 tsp. mayo (sometimes I use 1/2 tsp, it works either way)

Peel the avocado and cut into pieces and place in a mini food processor, add the other ingredients and blend until creamy. Serve with fresh pita chips. To make the pita chips: Use a pizza cutter to cut the pita into 8 wedges, you can do this before or after baking, I’ve done both. Rub both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt or onion powder, I normally do half and half.

You can also use this as a spread on sandwiches in place of all mayo. I have even made it leaving all the mayo out and it is just as good. The mayo just gives it a special lil something!
