Baked French Fries

THURSDAY! We have almost gotten through another week of winter! Hooray to each of us! Take a moment and see the blessings in your day!

I think the best way to enjoy vegetables, is roasting them! I roast some kind of vegetable a few times a week. I make baked french fries at least once a week. Baked french fries are basically roasted potatoes! Dip them in a little ketchup and mmmm delicious!  It is super simple to do, peel and wash your potatoes, then thoroughly dry them, the better you dry them, the crisper the fry! Lately I have been cutting my potatoes into thin strips. Place on a stone baking pan drizzle with a little olive oil (not too much or your fries won’t crisp) and sprinkle with your favorite spices, lately my go to is oregano, salt and pepper. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes, turning the fries with a spatula a few times during baking. Once crisp and done, place on a plate lined with paper towels and serve with ketchup! ENJOY!
