Brown Sugar and Maple Sugar

Today I am sharing a tip more than a recipe. The other day I ran out of brown sugar! I couldn’t believe it, I NEVER run out of baking items! I always have extra of most things on hand! This was the 2nd time I had run out of brown sugar! I had seen this idea online so I gave it a try and made brown sugar! Super Simple! I went to pull out the molasses and saw the Maple Syrup so I decided to try Maple Sugar too! If you have ever looked for Maple Sugar you know it is hard to find and quite expensive, what a great substitute this is! ENJOY!

Brown Sugar

1 cup white sugar mixed with 1 TBSP molasses (use 2 TBSP for dark brown sugar). I mixed in my Kitchen Aid. You can use a hand mixer or a fork, it will just take longer.

Maple Sugar

1 cup white sugar mixed with 2 TBSP Maple Syrup.

Store both in airtight containers.
