Happy Monday! Today I had fun experimenting in the kitchen with caramel apples! The last time I made them was years ago and I remember it not going so well! This was pretty simple and pretty quick. I used mini apples I found at Wegmans and the sticks I found online at Etsy. I LOVE to host Teas and these would be a cute place setting for a Fall Tea. You could also gather your friends and neighbors and have a Fall party with the kids and do this as a project. Be creative with your toppings too! I used graham cracker crumbs and pecans. Give them a try and let me know how you like the process!
Ingredients:
4 mini apples
4 sticks
1/2 bag of caramels
1 TBSP milk
graham cracker crumbs
chopped pecans.
Directions:
Place sticks in middle of the apples. Unwrap all the caramels and add the Tbsp of milk. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute then stir until smooth. Let cool for a few mins. Then roll your apple into the caramel then in your toppings. I rolled mine in the graham cracker crumbs and pecans together, I did one with graham crackers on bottom then pecans around the top too. ENJOY!
