It has been so hot we have been cooking on the grill a lot lately. I’m sharing my chicken burger recipe with you today. I’ve been making these delicious burgers for a while now and it is the perfect summer time dinner. It is especially refreshing if you skip the bun and use 2 Romaine lettuce leaves in place of the bun! I also add avocado, pickle and tomatoes to my burger!
a pound of ground chicken
1/4 cup bottled chili sauce (you can adjust to your taste and add more if you like)
onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
Form into patties and grill until done. I usually make them small and get 6 out of a pound of chicken. For a nicer size burger make 4. If you want to jazz up your burger, add a small chunk of your favorite cheese in the middle of your burger. I like putting half a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese in them. YUMMY!
