Chili Casserole

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a tried and true recipe I have made for many, many years! I’ve even made it for catering events and it is always well liked! On Halloween night when my children were small (the oldest is now 20!) I would invite a few families over for dinner and we would go trick or treating right after. This chili was served many times for Halloween dinners! Beautiful memories of special gatherings! Feel free to give me feedback after you’ve tried it!

Chili Casserole

1 pound ground beef

1 cup chopped celery

½ cup chopped onion

1 tsp. garlic salt

1 can stewed tomatoes

1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained

1 (16 oz) vegetarian beans in tomato sauce, undrained

½ cup ketchup

2 Tbsp molasses

1 tsp Dijon mustard

¼ tsp red pepper

Combine first 4 ingredients in a skillet and cook until beef is browned. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Spoon into a

13 x 9 casserole baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 45 mins, stir half way through. Enjoy!
