Chocolate Turkeys

Each year for Thanksgiving I make a molded chocolate piece. Either for the centerpiece or dessert table. I usually make individual chocolates for the place settings. This year I made small individual turkeys for each place setting and a few bigger ones for the dessert. table. Molded chocolates are a quick, inexpensive way to make your table more festive! I usually order my molds online and I plan ahead so I can order for a few holidays. You can always find molds and the candy melts at your local craft store. You can get better quality candy melts at a cake supply store. You pour your candy melts into a DRY microwave safe bowl and you melt for 30 seconds at a time. Remove from the microwave each time to stir until melted. Then pour into your molds, pop in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size of your mold and that’s it! Tons of fun for the kids to get involved with too! ENJOY!

You can look back at my blog from last year to see the big cornucopia I make too! Stay tuned for the big Christmas chocolate!

I want to wish each of you a Beautiful and Happy Thanksgiving! I will be in full cook mode Wednesday and Thursday so I will be back on Monday with you! Enjoy each moment of your time with family and friends!
