Cookie Baking!!! It is one of my all time favorite things to do! With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I wanted to show some love from my kitchen! I have many tried and true cookie recipes. I know which favorites each of my family and friends like the best! I set out to make 3 types of cookies that I knew were loved by the people who would be receiving them! I made Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars, a thick bar cookie, reminds me of a bakery cookie! Mini chocolate chip cookies, everyone’s favorite! I also made my cut out sugar cookies with frosting! I think this is my most requested cookie!
Along with cookie baking, another of my favorite things to do is package my cookies! I’m always on the hunt for different containers, ribbons and such for cookies and treats! Online is a great resource and so is your local craft store. My latest idea is to use pretzel bags for mini cookies!
Set aside some time and bake some cookies! Involve your family and friends too! It is so much fun to bake in the kitchen with friends and family! ENJOY!
