Crab Balls

Today I am sharing an appetizer creation from my kitchen! I made these the day before I served them and then just heated when I needed them on Christmas day. They have a really good flavor, give them a try! ENJOY!

Crab Balls

8 ounces crabmeat

1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

2 TBSP melted butter

1/4 cup light mayo

1 cup crushed fine Utz potato chips

1/2 tsp season salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

Mix all ingredients together. Add the mayo in half at a time. You don’t want the mixture to be too wet. If it is too wet the crab will not stay in ball form! If this happens, just serve it in a bowl as dip! This did happen to half of mine because I was moving too fast when I made them! 🙂 Form into 12 balls on a baking sheet, then place in the refrigerator for an hour. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until set. ENJOY!
