Happy Monday! Feels like Fall where I am! I am so excited, my favorite season! I hope you are enjoying the beginning of fall as well!
BIG apologies for only one post last week! I was not taking a break! I was having technical issues and not able to post! All seems to be up and running now and I’m very happy about that!
Today I am sharing a DIY project with you! I have had this cabinet for many, many years! I purchased this years before children and my oldest is 21! It originally was purchased as an extra pantry then it became a cookbook nook. Several months ago I moved it upstairs in my hallway for extra linen storage. I always had plans to paint it but finally got to it! This is definitely one of those pieces I re purposed! I have been looking for a cabinet for the hallway for years but everything I liked was way too pricey for furniture to sit in a hallway! I recently painted it and I am so excited about how it turned out! Keep in mind, all of this piece is not true wood but I think I pulled off a good look!
I used CeCe Caldwell chalk paint in Vintage White. I painted 2 coats then allowed it to thoroughly dry. Then I used the Ce Ce’s clear wax with dark aging cream on top. I do love the look of it! Chalk paint does wonders! If you’ve never used it before, you should try it!
ENJOY!
