Fruit Salsa

Today I am sharing a tried and true, much loved recipe! I along with several of my friends have been making this for years! It has been shared many times, in many different ways and I honestly don’t remember which friend shared it first! If anyone wants to claim the discovery please comment on this post! 🙂 The original recipe can be found at allrecipes.com under Annie’s Fruit salsa. Today I am sharing my quick version of it. I have not used the original recipe in a long time. Use what you have, mix up the fruits to your liking and enjoy creating your own version! So yummy! ENJOY!

Fruit salsa (I made this for 4 people so I used what I had!)

1 cup strawberries, cut into small pieces

1/4 cup blueberries (that’s all I had left in my frig)

1 nectarine, my favorite peeled and cut into small pieces

squeeze of half a lime over the cut up fruit. Then I added a tsp of the yummiest jam ever! I purchased Ginger jam from the farmers market, it has strong ginger tones and lemon flavor, very fresh tasting. Mix together and allow to sit in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving. Serve with homemade cinnamon chips. I use a cookie cutter to cut out flour tortillas, lightly spray with Pam and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Place in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Delicious! Enjoy!
