Granola Bites / Norton

Today I am sharing a recipe for Granola Bites that a friend shared with me. I changed the recipe a little to suit my likes. These are a quick, healthy grab and go breakfast. Enjoy!

2 cups quick oats

1 cup crispy rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup mini chocolate chips

2/3 cup honey, I do a little less than this

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


Combine all the ingredients together in a large bowl, mix until well-combined.

Using a cookie scoop drop rounded tablespoonful-sized portions onto a parchment or wax paper lined cooking sheet.

Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or freeze for 10 to 20 minutes. They will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to a week or for a few months in the freezer.

Norton has been chilling out this week. He has mostly been sleeping ALOT but today he managed to stay awake for 10 solid minutes to destroy a new toy! Actually I think it took him less than 10 minutes, haha!
