I recently hosted 8 of our family members overnight for a week for a graduation. I am left wondering why everyone always says they dislike having overnight guests! I do enjoy entertaining, absolutely! So my first thought is a piece of cake for me, just more people to cook for and take care of, something I LOVE to do! I also think in a world where so much bad is going on around us to stop and truly connect with someone or many people is a precious gift we so often miss or don’t get to encounter. I can honestly say my nerves were not tested, nor was my patience (which I lack anyway) and it was very enjoyable. I wish we lived closer to enjoy each other’s company more often.
If you get the opportunity, have some overnight guests and just enjoy the connection, all the other stuff will fall into place. Better yet, make the opportunity!
