Welcome October! Today I enjoyed a little DIY moment by taking a painting class from Carey over at Vintage Blue in Highland MD. Make it a point to check out her shop, lots of nice things for your home! Today we learned to paint with chalk paint and use clear and dark wax to “antique” the piece. I found a gold mirror while I was out junkin and that is the piece I used. It was pretty easy to do and lots of fun. Carey is a sweet person and very knowledgable! I am now inspired to paint furniture pieces in my home! Below are the before and after pictures.
