Peach Sorbet

Today’s recipe is one I received in an email. It is from Martha Stewart and it is one of the easiest recipes and yet so incredibly delicious! NO ice cream maker needed! It is so simple I am going to try it with other fruits! ENJOY!

Debbi K.

6 large peaches (I used 8 small peaches)

3/4 cup sugar ( I only used 1/2 cup and it worked fine)

3/4 cup water ( I used 1/2 cup)

1 tsp lemon juice

pinch of salt

Peel and chop the peaches and place in a freezer bag. Freeze until firm, I put mine in for about 3 hours. In the meantime, boil the sugar and water just until simmer. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Once the peaches are ready, place all the ingredients and blend in a blender! This is when it is the best to enjoy it! It tastes like soft serve ice cream and Summer! Any left over can be frozen, I just used the same bag the peaches were frozen in. It will not be as soft when you eat it after freezing but it is still just as tasty! A MUST TRY!!!!! ENJOY!
