Pear Sauce

I created today’s recipe to use up 3 pears I had. I am serving this on Thanksgiving, I thought it would be a nice addition. It only made a small serving but you can increase the amounts to double or triple the recipe. Quick and easy to make! ENJOY!

Pear Sauce

3 Asian Pears, peeled and chopped fine

a squeeze of lemon juice

2 TBSP. water

I sprinkled ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon, not a lot, a little goes a long way here

Stir all ingredients together in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and turn to medium low heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. I tasted it when finished and felt mine needed sugar so I added 1/2 TBSP sugar. Let cool, then process in a food processor. You can serve it chunky or smooth. Enjoy!
