Pizza Rolls

Happy Hot Wednesday to you! It is so hot and humid here, where did our nice weather go?? I still enjoyed my lunch on the porch today with the ceiling fan going and it was nice.

I posted my pizza dough recipe the other day and you will need that for this recipe. I recently found a recipe for Pizza Wheels and adapted it to make pizza rolls. Oh my! Once you try these you will fall in love with them! I know, a bit extreme, haha but oh so yummy! Enjoy and stay cool!

Pizza Rolls

a half a batch of Pizza Dough

olive oil

cornmeal

1/2 can Don Pepino pizza sauce or your favorite pizza sauce

Trader Joe’s Three Cheese blend shredded cheese or your favorite cheese

Grated Parmesan

oregano

Once the pizza dough has risen, roll it into a 9×12 rectangle or as close as you can get, roll it over cornmeal not flour, rub olive oil all over the dough then spread with the pizza sauce and top with the 2 kinds of cheese and sprinkle with Oregano. The roll up starting at the long end. Pinch the seam together and cut into about 1 inch pieces. I get 12 to 15 rolls out of this recipe. Place on a stone or baking sheet that has been sprinkled with cornmeal and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. OH SO GOOD! ENJOY!
