Steak in a Cast Iron Skillet

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19

Wishing you a day full of strength!

Today I am sharing a quick easy recipe for steak cooked perfect every time! Normally when I serve steak, my husband grills it. The last several times I’ve used the cast iron pan method and the steak turns out perfect! It is quick and easy too! You simply place your seasoned steak in a hot cast iron skillet on top of the stove, I add a slash of olive oil or butter to the pan. We usually season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for 3 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and how you like your steak. Place your skillet inside a PRE HEATED 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes depending again on thickness and how you like it. Turn the steak half way through. Remove the steak from the oven, place a pat of butter on top and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes! I always serve a baked potato on the side! ENJOY!
