A Prayer for You

Today my wish for all of us is to be in the presence of Christmas. For each of us to pause and enjoy the moments in the hustle and bustle of the holiday. May we hold onto and treasure each of our blessings. May we allow ourselves the enjoyment of the real reason of the season and may we offer kindness and compassion to each person we encounter. Christmas Blessings to each of you! Below is the prayer that I have been praying daily in the last week.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
