Biscuits

Happy Friday! I am hopeful we will have a great Fall weekend weather wise! I am loving all the colors outside right now, so pretty!

Today I am sharing my biscuit recipe with you. I have made these twice this week! I make them for breakfast or to go with soup. This is an easy go to recipe! ENJOY!

Biscuits

2 cups flour

1 TBSP sugar

1 TBSP baking powder

1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, cut in small cubed pieces

1 cup buttermilk

In a mixer add flour, sugar and baking powder, add in butter. Blend until the butter is distributed, it will resemble tiny peas. GRADUALLY add the buttermilk, some days you might not need all of the buttermilk. Mix until combined. The dough should be smooth but not sticky. Place on a floured counter and pat into a circle. Cut with a biscuit cutter or when I’m in a hurry I use a small glass. Place on a baking stone and bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 400. Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
