Frosted Cranberries

Peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Christ. Sheila Walsh

Wishing you moments of Peace.

I have been wanting to try Frosted Cranberries as a food decoration for many years. Since I was always wanting it as decor, it always fell to the bottom of the list and never accomplished. This year I was determined to make them! I looked at several recipe then just created my own. I discovered that they aren’t just incredible for decorating your food but they also are a very tasty snack! These will be an addition to all my holiday festivities! I recently used my berries at the base of my strawberry tree. I put the tree and base on a white plate then placed the berries around. It looked like a wreath of yummy frosted berries! ENJOY!

1/2 cup water

1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries

Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer until all the sugar dissolves. Add your cranberries to a mixing bowl and pour the sugar water over the cranberries. refrigerate overnight. Drain the cranberries, add in the sugar and toss until all the berries are covered in sugar. Place on a parchment lined pan and pour the berries in a single layer onto the pan. Allow them to air dry for one hour. SOOO Delicious! ENJOY!
