Gluten Free Pizza Crust

Today I am sharing 2 pizza crust mixes that I have tried. Both are Gluten Free. I was not thrilled the day my doctor told me to stop eating gluten and one of my first thoughts was PIZZA! I don’t eat much pizza, I shouldn’t eat it at all with the stomach I have, but when I do, I have to say I love it! Since I became GF I have only tried one other GF pizza and that was from Uno restaurant. It was very good but way too rich for me. These 2 pizza crust mixes where the only other times I have tried pizza since becoming GF.

The Stonewall Kitchen crust was purchased from The Great Harvest Bakery for about $10. You can also purchase from Stonewall online for the same price but you pay shipping.

I purchased the Cup 4 Cup mix at Williams Sonoma for $14.95.

The Stonewall Kitchen Crust is a herb crust so it has a lot of flavor and smells wonderful! It was easy to work with, light, not tough and delicious! I would use it again!

The Cup 4 Cup was not so good. In all fairness, the people I know and the bloggers I follow that are GF all love the Cup 4 Cup brand. It is a yeast dough but the instructions do not allow for rising. I think if the dough had time to rise it might have been lighter and more tasty. I did not eat much of this pizza but I am willing to give it a try again and I will contact the company to see if I could have done something different.

So if you are Gluten Free and missing your pizza, give a few pizzas and crust mixes a try to find what you like! Be sure to come back and let me know what you discovered! Enjoy!
