Movie Review / Chef (2014)

Here is my first movie review and you will see why I felt I had to share it!

I have had a love of food since I can remember! From the crab feasts when I was little, to my mother hosting the girl scout troop for crepes to earn our cooking badge, to the cooking club I started with my daughter and her friends when they were younger, to the class I created teaching 4 years olds cooking skills and yummy recipes. Also, when my husband and I were dating, we would take weekend trips every other month or so and we always ended up doing something food related! Trying a new restaurant where we were staying or finding a quaint shop that sold unique food products. The list goes on and on!

So having this strong love for all things food, being a foodie….it is no surprise I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Chef! It is about a chef who struggles to find his identity in his personal life as well as through his food. He works in a restaurant where he is not allowed to change the menu and be creative. He has been given a bad review by a critic and this causes much turmoil! His son introduces him to Twitter and it all goes downhill from there! Sometimes you have to fall down the hill to learn to go back up! This is where I will leave you!

I hope you will take the time to watch this movie. Even if you aren’t a foodie, you should still enjoy it!

The next food related movie I want to see is The Hundred-Foot Journey!

ENJOY!
